Dr. Scott had married Catherine Ware, who was born May 1, 1777, a daughter of James Ware, Jr., M.D. ( 1741-1820) and Catherine Todd Ware (born February 9, 1758). Catherine Ware Scott's will was probated July 15, 1863, in Frankfort.
